Two schoolmates (Alan and Brigitte) get involved in a rivalry because of their lack of understanding each other. Tempers flare, and unexpected humor erupts.

A Different Kind of Humor is the first movie written and directed by Roberto Ferreira. Attending UCLA Extension Film School for only two months, Roberto managed to put a group of fellow students together to create this short, cute, romantic comedy as a way of celebrating the beginning of their journey.

After finishing A Different Kind of Humor, Roberto directed another short film called Continuity (Moon Hill Productions) and a teaser for a new TV series called Wesley.

Roberto says: “They say that in Hollywood all you need is a dream and I am extremely pleased that I was able to fulfill mine. No one can tell me that I’m not a filmmaker: the proof is here”.
